Your friendly neighbourhood optometry practice is happily back to providing in-office eye exams and measurements for new eyewear as of May 25, 2020!

We can’t wait to see you again! We’ve missed you! A few things to know before you arrive:

We have dedicated our efforts to going above and beyond Public Health guidelines to enhance our already high safety standards and protocols to ensure the ongoing safety of our patients and our team while continuing to provide exceptional care and service for our patients.

Although we will all be wearing masks and following our new protocols when you enter the clinic, rest assured that we will be with you every step of the way to navigate through this adjustment to the ‘new normal’. Please do not hesitate to discuss the details or any questions you may have with our friendly staff when booking your appointment.

We are welcoming all patients back to our clinic again for in-person eye examinations.

Our clinic plan to safeguard your health and safety:
- New state of the art equipment and technology to allow for physical distancing and efficiency while performing the same thorough and comprehensive examination of your eye health and vision that you are accustomed to.
- In-office visits for eye health exams or eyewear selection by appointment only to limit the number of people in the office at one time and to maximize physical distancing.
- Conducting most of our conversations around your eye health and eyewear needs and concerns by phone to help maintain physical distancing and safety.
- Disinfection of all equipment, eyewear, surfaces and touch points prior to each visit and handwashing and use of hand sanitizer for our patients and staff through every step of your visit. Face masks (either cloth or surgical) worn by everyone entering the clinic.
- Use of tele-health visits for eye health concerns that can be addressed through a virtual visit.

We will be offering you a scheduled time to choose new eyewear or picking up an order. This gives you a one-on-one experience with an amazing team member while in the office.

The frame selection process has been updated in order to ensure safety. Every frame has been fully disinfected and will be safe for you to try on.

We will be using innovative new technology that allows us to maintain safe physical distance while taking all the necessary measurements to ensure the same high-quality optical products we have always provided.

Regarding lenses

Contact lenses can be purchased same-day through our large in-office stock via curbside contactless pick-up or can be shipped, free of charge, to your home.

We continue to be price-comparative and offer rebates on many types of lenses.

As a neighbourhood small business, we appreciate you shopping local,
but as always, there is no pressure or obligation to buy your eyewear from us.
